Microchanneling is a procedure designed to stimulate your body’s own natural ability to generate collagen, elastin, and other building blocks of healthy skin. ProCell’s Microchannel Delivery Serum contains bone marrow-derived growth factors in a hyaluronic acid suspension. Both of these elements are naturally occurring in the human body. This is an amazing skin tightening treatment that also evens skin tone, reduces rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and fights acne.

Prepare: To ensure the best results, avoid sun exposure and use gentle skincare products before and after your treatment. If you use retinoids, stop using them at least two days before your treatment. If you take a photo-sensitizing medication (e.g., Accutane), consult with your dermatologist before treatment as it is generally recommended to wait six months after stopping the medication to begin laser treatments. Stay hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment.
Arriving at your appointment: Come with clean, bare skin (no makeup, tanning products/spray tans, perfumes, or other topical products). For hair removal, shave the treatment area 48 hours before your treatment - we want to see a little stubble at your appointment! Do not wax or pluck the area. Inform your provider of all medications and health concerns you have. Aerolase is generally safe for everyone, but neurological and autoimmune disorders must be discussed prior to treatment.
Aftercare: Most clients can return to normal activities immediately after treatment, you can even wear makeup following your appointment! Your skin may be sensitive for several days, temporary side effects include redness and/or swelling, though it is generally mild and short-lived. Avoid direct sun exposure for at least seven days, a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen (minimum SPF 30) is recommended. Avoid skin irritants like tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, and astringents post treatment.
Treated pigment will turn darker (brown or black) within 48 hours. Do not pick at treated areas. Pigment will exfoliate off the face in approximately one week and off the body in approximately two to three weeks. If your skin scabs or crusts, do not pick, rub, or scratch these areas as it can result in infection, permanent pigment changes in your skin, or scarring. Gently cleanse and apply a fragrance-free moisturizer.

Put simply, it depends on the treatment. Something like toe fungus or plantar warts will have a higher pain sensation due to the high level of energy being applied to the treated area. Hair removal is a mild to moderate sensation, with most clients reporting that they feel less sensation as they get more treatments. Skin rejuvenation is a very mild sensation. The treatment is warm on your face but it is not hot. Most clients have no pain and some even find it relaxing.
You have the option of using a handheld fan during any of your treatments, just ask!

We generally recommend four to six treatments for skin rejuvenation to treat scarring, collagen production, and pigmentation. These treatments should be spaced three to four weeks apart. Hair removal is typically six to eight treatments spaced four to six weeks apart. Warts and skin tags generally take one to three treatments.
Consult with us before your service to learn more about the recommended number of sessions for your skin.

The Aerolase targets three chromophores in your skin: hemoglobin, melanin, and water. Chromophores are molecules that absorb and reflect light within your skin. When melanin (pigmented lesions, hair follicles), hemoglobin (vascular lesions), and water absorb the laser, the pigment and hair follicles are targeted and destroyed and collagen is signalled to start producing in excess, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and helping acne scarring.
